Grammie Camp Part I: Lots of Flower Picking

I had a lot of fun at Grammie Camp this weekend ...

I even helped Grammie decorate this "Welcome Home" cake for

Mommy and Daddy!

I especially liked dipping the strawberries in chocolate &

picking the flowers ...

We had a wonderful weekend at a cabin in TN.

The weather was amazing, the view of the mountains was breath-taking,

and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

On our car trip I decided to crochet a little bit.

I haven't done it in years ... and I only know one stitch ...

but I made this simple daisy headband.

-

Ada liked it ... good think she isn't terribly picky!

I need to get a book & learn some more stitches b/c it is really fun!

We came home to two happy kids & a yard full of spring flowers!

Ada picked some to decorate our dinner on the deck tonight!

It's good to be home!

Cat in the Hat Day at the Museum

Recently we went to the "Cat in the Hat Day" at the Children's Museum in honor of Dr. Seus' birthday! We had lots of fun with the M family. You can read about their crazy adventures that day if you click here!

We made hats!

Daddy was very excited about this!

We also listened to a special story time ...

I promise that we had a good time ...

we were just a little overwhelmed by the crowds and the hubbub!

Your mother will not mind at all if you do!

Mini- Vacation Weekend

This weekend Mommy & Daddy are going to a cabin in the mountains to celebrate:

two graduations

two 30th birthdays

& 5 years of marriage!

-

Meanwhile, Benjamin & I are going to have a mini-vacation of our own!

We are going to spend the weekend with Gramps & Grammie

having our very own "Grammie Camp"

including activities such as

backyard rides in the wheel barrow,

trips to the park,

cooking hot dogs in the fireplace,

and making ice cream cones,

puzzles, books, games, and crafts!

We are very excited ...

and so are our parents!

As Good As It Gets

Mommy REALLY wanted a picture of Benjamin & I together.

However, after posing so nicely for all the individual and

group photos, I was too tired to pose with Benjamin.

So, this is as close as Mommy is going to get!
