Forgive my attempt at French. Aunt Ginny wasn't around to ask, and Mommy can't remember much from her one year of high school french except that they got to make cool collages about French culture and eat crepes!
Mmm...

But anyway, this post begins a new series that I like to call "Tour de House" which is not quite as famous as the "Tour de France" but will also not require you to bicycle for a million zillion miles. So, for most of you this will be more fun. With the possible exception of Uncle Michael of course who would probably love to do the real Tour de France!
Ok, so let's begin with das Buro or the office.
Are you impressed with my linguistic aptitude yet?
Especially considering that I can only say about 14 words in English so far:
Mommy
Daddy
Baby
Ball/Book (These currently sound the same.)
Puppy
Cat
Turtle (Tur-el)
Cookie
Poopy
Shoes
Grammie
Alise "Ayise"
Sleep (Accompanied by one finger over my mouth and a puff of air)
Patrick "Pat"
Uh-oh (When something is dropped!)
But, while I'm learning to speak Enlish, Daddy is studying to become fluent in computer code. And now he can do it in his new office...
Ta-da! (Not sure what language that is!)
Here is one side of the Japanese inspired background Daddy painted on the wall.
And here he is modeling his new desk and chair -- very spiffy!
And here you get the whole picture a bit better!
Daddy loves his office and has been hard at work in there all week working on stuff for church.
Well, sometimes maybe he is playing games on the computer, it is tough to tell!
Ok, that's all for now!
Next time I will show you the master bedroom!
Sayounara!
