During our "Camp MK" we have enjoyed some really fun things ... like our trip to the water park!

Making new friends is definitely one of the greatest joys of this week!

"Quote of the Day" by Mommy

Today on our way from MS to Indiana, Ada woke up in the backseat somewhere in rural Illinois and screams, "Mommy, oh no! Where are all the people? Where are the cities? Where are the houses?"

I tried to console her and explain that we were passing farms. She looked outside at the miles and miles of open feilds. Then she sighed, "Mommy, I miss the cities!"

She is her Daddy's Girl!

Besides the chocolate birthday cupcakes,

we also had an Italian Cream Cake for Ompak's 92nd birthday.

(This might just be my new favorite kind of cake!)

David lit up the grill & we had hamburgers and hot dogs.

And we had corn casserole!

I made it the way David likes it with sour cream and cheese -- it is absolutely divine!

We also had baked beans, chips, fresh fruit, & ice cream!

It was all yummy!

Cupcake Demolition by Mommy

This poor cupcake did not stand a chance. It was demolished in a matter of seconds!
(Yes, I know he looks like a redneck with his shirt off. Sorry about that, but I couldn't let him ruin his cute new outfit!)

Fun w/ Friends

Thanks to everyone who came and made the party so much fun -- Chloe, Kate, Savannah, Nathan, Dominic, Jerad, Eli, & Angel! Thank you all so much for coming ... & we are glad you brought your parents too!

Oh, and a special thanks to Baby Abigail (in the bottom left corner)! She was the youngest party guest!
