Sometimes you just have to smile...

...like when you are caught trying to find Daddy's basketball.
(because you want to eat it!)

... or when Daddy takes you for a ride around the house.

... or when Mommy kisses your tummy!

... or when Daddy comes home!
(this is me seeing Daddy after work!)

I love my Daddy!

...and he loves me!

Summer Fun

I am so sorry that it has been such a long time since I updated this blog. I wanted to post pictures of my trip, but I still haven't gotten the disc from the group photographer. So, for now I have decided to post about other adventures this summer.

First, it get's really hot here in July ...
and there is no better way to stay cool then a nice bath!
This just happens to be a favorite pass time of mine!

So, this summer I have enjoyed the fun of bubble baths!

I also bravely tried my first pickle...

... talk about an adventure!

And, I discovered the mirror,

... which provides hours of entertainment.

Most importantly I am enjoying going for walks with Mommy & Daddy...
... as long as we take breaks in the shade to enjoy a drink!

Video Games

Here I am helping my dad play video games.
Ok, mostly I am just keeping his lap warm.
Still, it is an important job!

Pudding

I'm very helpful in the kitchen.
Last night I helped my mom make pudding.
Notice how I am holding the package for her!
Also, I am making her laugh!

Blueberries

I love mashed blueberries!

They are so yummy!
But, Mommy always makes me take
my shirt off before I eat them.
I wonder why?

Bacon Cheese Burgers

Well, this is not a cooking blog like the ones my mom likes to look for recipes on. However, I just wanted to show everybody how Mommy and I surprised Daddy by making bacon cheese bugers for the 4th of July.
We found actual bacon at the store here which is very rare, and it was for a reasonable price. So, when he came home we had a red, white, and blue meal ready for him including his favorite corn pudding and homemade sweet iced tea! Here we are enjoying our 4th of July meal!

4th of July

Ok, in honor of the 4th of July my parents taught me to sing the national anthem. Well, actually my mom did, my dad has a habit of making up his own words for songs! Anyway, here I go...

"Oh, say can you see..."

Wait a minute... did I say there is something to see?
I want to see it! Where is it?

Is it over there?

I'm pretty sure I saw something over here.

I know, maybe it's down here...

Sorry, folks, I can't find it. Hope you had a happy 4th anyway!
