By Request: More Cake Pictures & Info
Several people have been asking about the cake.
For those who are interested ...
-
Castle & Towers:
- chocolate cake with cream cheese icing
- two regular ice cream cones stacked and
covered in melted white chocolate
- topped with sugar cones covered in fudge frosting
and rolled in red and white icing sugar.
-
Dragon:
- molded rice crispy treats covered in icing
and then in rolled fondant
The scales were made with icing gel
and the wings were made of fruit roll-ups.
-
- Daddy is the one who carved the fondant
to look like a dragon!
He did an amazing job!

Madeline
"In an old house in Paris that was covered in vines,
Lived 12 little girls in two straight lines.
In two straight lines they broke their bread,
and brushed their teeth, and went to bed!"
-
Lately. I have been very excited about my Madeline books.
I was extremely excited when I got this outfit from Grammie!
I call it my "Madeline dress" because it looks like the school uniform Madeline wears
(sweater set & plaid skirt).
-
& Aunt Ginny gave me a set of the Madeline books!
I love the whimsical illustrations!
(I like to call Mommy "Ms. Clavel" sometimes!)

More Fun on the Horizon
So, today we hit the sales bins to find a costume for next year!
We found this fun Snow White princess dress!
-
I loved twirling around & around in it!
-
The best part is ... I don't have to wait until next fall to wear it!
For my birthday I'm going to see Disney Princesses on Ice &
I'm going to wear my Snow White dress!
I'm so excited!
