Today the weather is cold and wet.

Last night it rained so much our street became a river.

It's a good thing I have this hat to keep me warm!

One Small Step for Babykind

Here I am! Walking's not that hard. This last week I've really been getting the hang of it.

I'm All Bundled Up And Ready To Go!

It's cold outside today! Mommy and I are going to

her book club and to visit Daddy at work.

She dressed me warmly in this pink outfit,

and then she went to do her hair.

Well, you can't exactly expect me to just sit there while I wait for her!

So, I started my own football game with the globe beach ball.

Just between you and me, babies are not known for having a lot of patience!

So, my game was going along fine,
until Mommy came back and wanted me to smile for the camera!

Okay, okay! If you insist on tickling me I will smile!
But, do you really have to interrupt my footall game?!
I was winning by the way!

Fall 2008 Olympic Games

Daddy had a guys-only video game party for his birthday in July.

But, last night Mommy had an Olympic birthday party which included fun Olympic events like "Catch the Cracker in Your Mouth" and other little known favorites.

Everyone loved the funny games, and Mommy got lots of nice presents from her friends too.

And I got to help her blow out the candles!

Mommy's Birthday

Tomorrow is Mommy's birthday.

Daddy and I surprised her with a rose and a gift tonight
when she came home from work!
She was very excited!

Today it is cold outside!

Daddy bought me this new winter hat and I love it!
The kitten face makes me laugh when I look in the mirror!

I was, however, a very reluctant model for this photo shoot.


I was most interested in grabbing the camera!

Lately, when I'm taking a nap...

Eeyore has a way of distracting me!

So Mommy grounded him from nap time.

When I'm falling aspleep she puts him in the toy bin.

But, I found a way to reach him!

with a little tugging and pulling

I managed to get him through!

and then we got back to having fun!

Tales of Toothpaste

Normally, I hate to have my teeth brushed.

And, Mommy hates it too because I refuse to open my mouth.

But today we found a new flavor of kids toothpaste and it doesn't taste so bad.

So now we can keep these teeth sparkling white!

Zoo Trip!

Today we went to the zoo!

It was really fun! First, Mommy and I rode the Baby Ride .
That was fun, but I was more excited about the song it played!

Then I got to see lots of fun animals, like this peacock...

and this deer...

... and this tiger.

Walking along the ledge was great fun!

The water birds were my favorite part!

The ducks were so freindly (when we fed them)!

Hmmm... not sure about this guy!

The emu thought we were fascinating!

I was a little concerned about the camel.

And all of our outings end with a picture like this...

Girl Time

My First Steps!

Good Morning My Loyal Readers!

I'm still a little sleepy as I enjoy this banana for breakfast this morning.

I just wanted to let you know that I took my first steps yesterday evening at 9 1/2 months old!

I walked from the middle of the room to the sofa with a toy in each hand!

Mommy was so excited, but I wasn't sure what the fuss was about.

I will try to do it again today becasue Daddy didn't get to see it!

Also, I will try to catch a photo of me in action!

and now the tour moves on again...

Eeyore likes this spot too... and so does Koala Bear.

And I especially like to play with Daddy here.

We have a lot of fun!

He lets me play with his hair!

And he tickles my tummy!
